New Product Owner for Time & Attendance and Task Management

We are looking for a Product Owner for our product domains: Time & Attendance and Task Management.

You will be part of a team with a Product Manager, UX Designer and Lead Architects. Besides the team, you will work closely with the development department, primarily located in Bucharest, Romania.

Job description

As a Product Owner at ProMark, you will be responsible for driving the development and success of our product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to define and deliver innovative workforce management solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This role requires an understanding of the workforce management industry, an ability to navigate in a complex and regulatory context, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute product roadmaps.

User experience is a high priority in our product strategy. What we seek is an advocate for an exceptional user experience by working closely with UX/UI designers and stakeholders, ensuring that we capture the right ‘job-to-be-done’ and that the product design aligns with user needs, usability best practices, and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Feature process and product planning: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, user feedback, and market demands. Create and maintain product backlogs and ensure alignment with development teams.
  • Agile development: Collaborate with development teams in an agile environment, including participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. Provide clear, prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria to enable efficient development.
  • Quality assurance: Understand the customer’s needs and help translate them into acceptance criteria ensuring the feature delivers the expected result and gives value to the customer.
  • Product launch: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop product messaging and launch plans. Ensure product readiness, including documentation, training, and support materials.
  • Product performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends. Identify areas for improvement and initiate actions to enhance product features, usability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to workforce management solutions. Share insights and provide recommendations for future product innovation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a B2B Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in a workforce management or human resources software environment
  • Strong understanding of workforce management principles, including scheduling, time & attendance, employee tracking, and labor analytics is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA) 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and self-motivated
